Starting Sept. 1, Texans will be able to leave brewery taprooms with a case of their favorite craft beer. We will begin to sell all our core beers, year rounds and specialty brews in growlers and cans beginning Sunday, September 1st 2019 during all our Taproom hours Wednesday through Sunday.
Texas beer sales run on a system of three tiers: manufacturers who make the product, distributors who take it to market and retailers who sell it to customers. In the past, some beer distributors were opposed to beer to go, saying it would interrupt the state’s beer market and that Texas should continue its strict separation of the three tiers. The rationale behind the system is that it prevents anyone in one tier from controlling any of the activities of the other two tiers.
But this year, the distributors and brewers came to an agreement to allow brewers more access to the retail tier.
Our most popular sales will certainly be our latest release of TAP WTR, a crafted hard seltzer. We will be selling cans and growlers of TAP WTR this fall. In the Spring of 2019, we will release cans of TAP WTR to the public on a distribution level. Till then, you may purchase TAP WTR in cans at our TAP Room.

Texas Ale Project’s brewery and T.A.P. Room is located at 1001 N Riverfront Blvd. in Dallas, TX. The public can visit the brewery during T.A.P. Room hours on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 pm – 9 pm, Saturdays from 12 – 9 pm and Sundays from 12 – 6 pm. The brewery can also be rented for private events.
