Texas Ale Project is releasing Texas Blood, a Blood Orange IPA in September on draft and in cans. This is the second beer release in Texas Ale Project’s new rotational Research and Development series launched earlier this year. Texas Blood is a tribute to Texas pride and spirit, and a tasty spin on the traditional American IPA with the addition of refreshing blood oranges.
Texas Ale Project is celebrating this latest R&D Series release at the brewery on Friday, September 21st, 2018 in the Dallas Design District. Join the crew for a first taste of Texas Blood and more fun that evening from 4 – 9 pm.
Texas Blood draws inspiration from the juicy, dark red flesh of the hybrid orange which develops from cooler evening temperatures. The nose on this ale is a mixture of fresh blood orange fruit and a solid amount of citrus-forward hops added. With a clean, crisp finish, 6.5% alcohol by volume and 40 IBUs, Texas Blood is fresh, juicy and ripe for enjoyment.
The R&D Series was launched to explore new craft beer ideas. The vision for the R&D Series is that innovation can come from anywhere, including you. Ideas are vetted for not just innovation, but also taste, appearance, aroma, and overall genuine quality as this is a continuation of Texas Ale Project’s mission to provide high quality, great tasting craft beers that the brewery takes pride in.
This Blood Orange IPA will soon be available on draft at many bars and restaurants throughout the DFW and West Texas areas and available in cans at Texas grocery and convenience stores by October 1st.
